“Don’t own so much clutter that you’ll be relieved if your house catches fire.”
In no particular order, this is a lot of what’s necessary in downsizing and relocating. We do them all - and more - as circumstances or requirements arise. See what you’re comfortable with; ask if there’s further information or assistance you need.
Finding your new place in the right area with the right amenities at the right price. Cottage or flat? Life rights or freehold? Meals or no meals? We can evaluate all the pros and cons together.
Selling your old one including any necessary repairs, cleaning and tidying. You might also like help or moral support with estate agents, conveyancers, and legalities.
Deciding what to keep, donate, or sell. Your kids don’t want the Noritake? Maybe it’s time you use it? Let’s sort the stuff that’s financially valuable, the stuff that’s emotionally valuable, and the stuff that’s just dragging you down.

The move itself! Getting in the movers, ensuring all is packed correctly in the van and arrives the other side without losses or breakages, then getting it into the right rooms and cupboards.
Settling you in. The tea and coffee, your first meal, having the bed made for a decent rest. Or later, when you want the couch moved to the other side of the room and the WiFi set up correctly.

Handled With Care works mainly in Cape Town - but also throughout the Western Cape by special arrangement.
You might not have fixed ideas about your move just yet. Maybe you’re just considering it. No matter. Let’s talk, and maybe we can offer suggestions or recommendations that make your decision easier.
